Global Gala

Fundraising for the Mission

All told, the total cost of this project is over $100,000. Each student is required to raise approximately $2,500 to cover their own expenses, but we also need to collectively raise the money required to purchase medicine and supplies for the clinic. To do this, we host an annual Global Gala each January with a formal dinner, silent auction, and time of casting vision for the trip. All proceeds from this event go directly to purchase medications and clinic supplies for the trip, and anything beyond the cost of supplies is distributed evenly among student team members' fundraising totals.

One way that you can assist with the Global Gala is donating an item for silent auction. Each student is responsible for recruiting at least 3 auction item donations for the auction, but we are looking to get as many items as possible. If you have an item or service that you would be willing to donate to the mission, we would be so blessed by that. Finally, we would be grateful if you would be able to attend the Global Gala. Even if you don’t live close to Oklahoma City, we are planning to sell digital tickets to allow anyone to participate in the auction and hear from our keynote speakers from anywhere in the world. This would allow you to support the mission in addition to providing you the opportunity to bid on some incredible items at the auction.
